What should I talk about an an event?
There are so many fun things to talk about on a short date. Topics such as favorite foods, hobbies, and interests are among some subjects you can talk about.
Can I attend more than one event?
Yes. You can attend as many events as you like. There are always new people at our events. Love's a number's game and the more people you meet the better your chances of meeting the right one.
Do you guarantee I will get a match?
We cannot guarantee you will get a match. However, about 80% of the people who attend get matches.
How often do you host speed dating events?
We host events weekly, biweekly, or monthly.
Are food and drinks included?
Our venues sell food and drinks. While these are not covered by our speed dating fee, you can purchase food and drinks directly from the venue.
Should I arrive early?
We recommend you arrive 10-15 minutes before the advertised time so you can sign in and get situated.
How many people usually attend a speed dating event?
About 20-50 people attend each event.
Can I pay at the door for these events?
All tickets must be purchased prior to a Date-A-Minute event so that we can make sure our events are even.
Will I be videotaped or photographed?
There is a possibility from time to time you will be photographed/recorded. If you oblige we will honor your request.
Is there a specific age group?
The age groups can vary from mid-20’s/late 20's, early 30’s, 40’s, 50's and older. Each event will specify a suggested age-range.
I am younger/older than your age range listed for an event. Can I still attend?
Our age ranges are merely suggestions we offer. Please feel free to select the age range you are most comfortable with.
Are Date-A-Minute speed dating events for all ethnic groups?
Absolutely. We welcome all people from different cultural backgrounds.
How are your matches notified?
Most participants input their match selections within 24-48 hours after the event. For those with a smart phone, use the Date-A-Minute app after an event to select and view matches instantly. You can also select and view your matches instantly via the Date-A-Minute website: https://www.dateaminute.com.
I can't make it to an event I paid for. What are my options?
Unfortunately we have a no refund policy.
What should I wear?
Preferably casual attire.
